This is a great summer breakfast! Coconut and rose are cooling foods, and the cinnamon adds a nice flavor and a little warmth.
- 1/2 c steel cut oats
- 2 t coconut oil
- 2 T coconut
- 1 T dried rose petals or rose
- pinch of mineral salt
- 1 T dried rose petals
- (optional) maple syrup or honey to sweeten
Combine all ingredients through water in a rice cooker or a pot on the stove. Bring to boil and then simmer until soft. Add dried rose near the end. Stir in sweetener before serving and enjoy!
